Celebrating the European Music Day with "the Music for the Royal Fireworks"

To celebrate the European Music Day, the Thessaloniki State Symphony Orchestra (TSSO) together with prominent orchestras of the city participated in a joint event initiated by the Culture - Tourism Directorate of the Municipality of Thessaloniki.

In collaboration with the Museum of Byzantine Culture and the Cultural Center of Thessaloniki, 40-50 musicians of each Orchestra, performed in the atrium of the Museum, keeping their social distance.

Zoi Tsokanou conducted The Music for the Royal Fireworks of Georg Friedrich Händel - La Réjouissance, Menuet I, and Menuet II performed by the TSSO famous string instrument ensemble.
