Zoi Tsokanou

One of the most impressive conductors of the upcoming generation with “deep musicality, authority and technical skill, a mature interpreter” hails Bernard Haitink. Conductor Zoi Tsokanou became the first woman to lead a major Greek orchestra, the Thessaloniki State Symphony Orchestra, where she served as artistic director for six consecutive seasons (2017-2023).  Zoi is a frequent guest conductor with major orchestras in Europe, the UK and around the world.
