Zoi Tsokanou in Switzerland’s Robert Oboussier Anniversary Celebrations

Zürich / Bern, October 2025

As part of the 125th anniversary celebrations of Swiss composer Robert Oboussier (1900–1957), Zoi Tsokanou will conduct the Ensemble TZARA in concerts at Zurich’s Konservatorium (3 October 2025) and Bern’s Forum Yehudi Menuhin (5 October 2025).

Long forgotten after his tragic death, Oboussier is now being rediscovered as a distinctive voice of 20th-century Switzerland. In collaboration with the Zurich University of Arts (ZHdK) and the contemporary ensemble Arc en ciel, these programmes will place his rediscovered music in dialogue with today’s composers, from Sarah Nemtsov and Matthew Shlomowitz to emerging voices from the ZHdK.
