
On May 26, 2024, the National Polish Radio Symphony Orchestra (NOSPR), under the baton of the illustrious Maestro Zoi Tsokanou, delivered a spellbinding performance that will be remembered for years to come.
The subscription concert, attended by 1,800 enthusiastic music lovers, showcased a programme that masterfully blended the ethereal and the exhilarating.
The concert opened with the delicate and evocative tones of Lily Boulanger's "D'un matin de printemps," setting a sublime and enchanting mood. This was followed by Maurice Ravel's graceful "Antique Minuet," transporting the audience to an era of elegance and refinement. A highlight was the rendition of Mozart's Piano Concerto in C major, KV 467, with the remarkable Federico Colli delivering a performance both technically brilliant and profoundly emotive. The concert culminated in a dazzling performance of Paul Dukas' "The Sorcerer's Apprentice," bringing the afternoon to a thrilling close and leaving the audience in awe and on their feet in a standing ovation.
