April 10, 2020 - The world premiere of Christos Samaras’s Byzantine Passions performed by Thessaloniki State Symphony Orchestra and Conductor Zoi Tsokanou was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

In this composition, the great contemporary Greek composer deliberates on the Divine Drama and the Crucifixion, artfully incorporating elements of Byzantine music.
