Music for the Museum, an innovative project initiated by Zoi Tsokanou amid the lockdown

"Music for the Museum" is an innovative interdisciplinary project initiated by Zoi Tsokanou during the COVIC -19 lockdown. The musicians of the Thessaloniki State Symphony Orchestra (TSSO) performed music inspired by the 20th century art, commissioned by the The Metropolitan Organization of Museums of Visual Arts of Thessaloniki – MOMus. A series of films with brand new works by four most talented Greek composers, inspired by MOMus exhibitions.

The music embraces tenderly the works, drawing the viewer in and allowing the viewer's eye across them so that everything is taken in.

"Music for the Museum" is a co-production of the Thessaloniki State Symphony Orchestra and The Metropolitan Organization of Museums of Visual Arts of Thessaloniki – MOMus in collaboration with the Thessaloniki International Film Festival Supported by the Greek Ministry of Culture. Supported by the Greek Ministry of Culture and Sports.
