Thessaloniki welcomed the great Mexican tenor Ramon Vargas in an impressive opera gala with the Thessaloniki State Orchestra (TSSO) under the baton of Zoi Tsokanou. The opera gala took place on July 10 in Heptapyrgion as part of the 3rd Heptapyrgion Festival.
Ramon Vargas is one of the leading voices of the 21st century, having conquered the whole world with the mastery of his performances and his highly versatile voice.
In the breathtaking setting of Heptapyrgion the audience enjoyed well-known arias of the lyrical repertoire, with the TSSO presenting also popular melodies from the wonderful world of opera.
